Chapter 272 - Package Delivery!

I would say this is still a surprise package even though I've already expected it to come. Some time last week or the week before, I was chatting with Patty (the owner of Patty Belle.com). She told me that she had tried a mask for acne and she would love to send some to me and have me to review it. I agreed to her and expecting some small seal-able bag samples. The package arrived yesterday.

The package was a little big and heavier than I expected. Sky Net delivery boy actually contacted me before sending this in front of my house but I couldn't pick up the call. I was at work~ I was so excited to open it after I came back from work.My stressful day has been taken off a lot.

Look! She sent me so many lovely things. I was overwhelmed with all the beauty luxuries right in front of my eyes. Let's see in details what she has sent me.

DIY 4 in 1 Mask set, where there's a cute mask bowl in jelly type form which makes it very flexible (the bowl is not in defect), spatula, mask brush, and three measuring spoons(so cute!).
A handmade bag which is so pretty! I can't really remember the exact name of this bag.

I mean she was too generous. I love that everything was so well packed because the soap sample was packed in a gift wrap with cherry tape and the DIY 4 in 1 Mask set was in the handmade bag. p/s: I didn't like the picture quality in this entry, I only use my phone camera to take this. I'm a person who have a little knowledge on photography, so I'm a little particular on the pictures I've taken. These pictures are just not up to my satisfaction. Can't wait for the new camera~

Chapter 270 - Quick Review

This is a shimmery loose eyeshadow available from Daiso and the packaging looks exactly like my L.A. Colors Shimmering Loose Eyeshadow with brush.

I'm impressed with the brush because it turned out to be pretty neat not as crazy as my L.A. Colors. However, its not very soft but quite a decent brush. It picks up the eyeshadow well and transfer to my eyelid well too. You may see me using this in Kawaii Manga Tutorial.

The color is in light pink and  turns out to be quite shimmery but I think I would prefer this than my L.A. Colors because this is eyeshadow is much finer makes it easier to blend and doesn't have glitter in it. To my surprise that it turns out to be quite pigmented too.  Most of the shades available are in light shades, too bad they don't have any dark shades. I would definitely recommend this who's looking on budget because it only cost me RM5 for this.

Chapter 268 - Quick Review

This blusher was given by Lynn. She knew that I wanted something from NYX but I didn't know what to take in and I've been hunting good cream blusher. I was so happy to receive this from her, it made me so excited about it. She told me that this shade is one of many favorites. Thanks so much for this cream blush!


The packaging looks very similar to MAC's packaging, looks simple, classy and elegant. It weigh at 6.0grams with a flip top lid and will last for 9 months upon opening. It's cruelty free or hypoallergenic. The pink seems quite dark, what till you look at the swatch.

Although it looks quite a deep color from it's pan but it turn out to be soft playful pink and it finish off matte. Many of you know that I have oily skin but this last me very long by using it alone, maybe at 5-6 hours? It's quite impressive for skin type like me. Imagine how lasting it is if I use it as a blush base. It does has a mild wax smell though. It's very pigmented and easy to pick up. I simply use my fingertip to dab into the pan and pat it evenly on my cheeks and I'm done. I know it's not advisable to dip my fingers in but I have not found any good blush brush yet. I'm looking upon ordinary and angled blush brush. Since I only need to use just a little on my cheeks, this blusher is going to last me forever which is pretty economical.

The ingredients for this blusher are:
Ceresin wax, Microcrystalline wax, Polythylene wax, Beeswax, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Mineral Oils, Isopropy Myristate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Lanolin, Diisostearyl malate, Corn starch modifited, Mica, Silica, Titanium dioxide, Butylated hydroxy anisole, Propyl paraben.

I don't really have any irritations from it. Unless if you have any allergic towards any ingredients above, its definitely safe to use this blusher. It's only for USD7 in NYX Cosmetics.
